01About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Astrology Explained website at astrologyexplained.com and every service we offer through it. In these Terms, "Astrology Explained", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Astrology Explained, and "you" refers to anyone who visits the website or buys from us.

By browsing the website, creating an account, booking a consultation or buying any product, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

02What we offer

Astrology Explained offers four kinds of paid services:

• Consultations: one-to-one astrology sessions held online or by phone.
• Courses: recorded and/or live online astrology courses.
• E-books: digital books and study material delivered as downloadable files.
• Reports: written astrology reports prepared from the birth details you provide.

We also publish free content such as blog articles. Free content is for general learning and may be changed or removed at any time. All our products are digital; we do not sell or ship physical goods.

03Your account

Some services need an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal: sharing a login, or giving others access to a course or e-book bought for one person, is not allowed.

Tell us straight away at the support email below if you think someone has used your account without permission. We may suspend accounts that are shared, misused or created with false information.

04Orders, prices and payments

• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
• Domestic payments (from India) are processed securely through Cashfree Payments, using UPI, cards, net banking or wallets.
• International payments are processed securely through PayPal.
• We do not see or store your full card, bank or PayPal login details. These are handled directly by Cashfree or PayPal under their own security standards.
• For international payments, PayPal or your bank may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction charges. These are set by them, not by us.
• An order is confirmed only after payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation from us by email or on the website.
• We may change prices at any time. The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order.
• We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a price was displayed wrongly, a service is unavailable, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount you paid.

05Coupons and offers

Discount codes and offers are valid only for the products, minimum order values and time periods stated with them. Unless we say otherwise, only one code can be used per order, codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to orders already placed. We may change or withdraw any offer at any time, and may cancel orders that misuse a code.

06Consultations

• Booking: a consultation is confirmed once it is paid for and a time slot is agreed. You will receive the date, time and joining details by email, WhatsApp or phone.
• Birth details: readings depend on accurate date, time and place of birth. We are not responsible for conclusions affected by incorrect or incomplete details you provide.
• Rescheduling: you may ask to reschedule by writing to us at least 24 hours before your slot.
• Changes from our side: if we must move a session, we will offer you a new slot or a refund for that session.
• Scope: each consultation covers the questions and duration described for the package you bought. Further questions after the session may require a new booking.
• Recording: sessions may not be recorded by either side without the other's consent.
• Conduct: we may end a session early, without refund, if the client is abusive or threatening.

07Courses

• You get access to a course for the period stated on its page at the time of purchase. If no period is stated, access lasts as long as we continue to offer that course.
• Course access is a personal, non-transferable licence for your own learning. You may not download, record, copy, share, resell or publicly show course videos, notes or materials.
• We may update course content, change lesson order, or move live sessions to new dates. Recordings of live sessions are provided where stated.
• Any certificate we issue confirms that you completed the course. It is not a government or university qualification.

08E-books

E-books are delivered digitally by download link, email or within your account. When you buy an e-book, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to read it on your own devices. You may not copy, print for distribution, upload, share, resell or reproduce any part of it. Download links may expire after a period, so please save your files after purchase.

09Reports

• Reports are prepared from the birth details and information you submit. Please check these carefully before payment, because changes after work begins may not be possible.
• We will tell you the expected delivery time when you order. Delivery times are estimates and may sometimes take longer during busy periods.
• Reports are delivered digitally, usually as a PDF by email or in your account.
• If a report contains an error on our part, such as wrong birth details from our side, we will correct it free of charge.
• Reports are for your personal use and may not be resold or published.

10Cancellations and refunds

Because our services are digital and personalised, cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before you buy.

11The nature of astrology

Astrology is an interpretive practice. Our consultations, courses, e-books and reports offer guidance and insight based on astrological principles and the experience of our astrologers. They are not a guarantee of any outcome, and results differ from person to person.

Nothing we provide is a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial or other regulated advice. Please consult a qualified professional for such matters. Any remedies we suggest are optional, and every decision you take after using our services is your own.

12Intellectual property

All content on the website and in our products, including text, articles, charts, illustrations, videos, course material, e-books, reports, logos and design, belongs to Astrology Explained or is used with permission. It is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may view and use this content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, republish, translate, sell, distribute, or create courses, videos or other works from it without our written permission. Short quotes with clear credit and a link to the original page are welcome.

13Acceptable use

When using the website or our services, you agree not to:

• break any law or encourage others to do so;
• harass, abuse, threaten or defame our team or other users;
• give false information or pretend to be someone else;
• try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or test our security without permission;
• upload viruses or harmful code, or overload or disrupt the website;
• scrape, copy or collect content or personal data by automated means;
• send spam or unsolicited promotions through our website or channels.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

14Feedback and testimonials

We value your feedback. If you send us suggestions or ideas, we may use them to improve our services without any obligation to you. We will only publish your testimonial, name or photo with your permission.

15Privacy and confidentiality

We treat your personal information and birth details with care and use them only to deliver and improve our services, as explained in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data.

16Third-party services

We use trusted third parties for things such as payments (Cashfree and PayPal), video calls, email and course hosting. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. The website may also link to other sites. We are not responsible for the content, services or practices of third-party sites.

17Website availability

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We may update, pause or change any part of the website or our services at any time. Information on the website may occasionally contain errors, which we may correct without notice.

18Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrology Explained and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of income, profits, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the website or our services, or from decisions you make based on them.

Where we are found liable for any claim, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service that the claim relates to.

19Indemnity

You agree to compensate and protect Astrology Explained and its team against any claims, losses or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any law or the rights of another person.

20Suspension and termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or end your access, without refund, if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, misuse our content, or act unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, will continue after termination.

21Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, illness, power or internet outages, government action, or failures of third-party platforms. We will resume or reschedule services as soon as reasonably possible.

22Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its "Last updated" date. Changes apply from the date they are posted. If you continue to use the website after an update, you accept the revised Terms.
